It's been widely reported that Hayden travelled to Ducati and spent an
entire day there, plus had dinner with Ducati top people. Supposedly to
finalize an order for a personalized Desmosedici RR stradale, then again I
haven't heard of Ducati putting prospective owners through a personal
interview onsite... :-)
I think it is safe to assume Hayden's ready for a change, his issues with
the new Honda must be indeed very frustrating, and probably elsewhere he
could start with the clean slate approach that may be beneficial for him
right now. Hopefully hayden can land a ride that suits his style and allows
him to prove his true worth again in '08.
If Stoner wins the championship, it'll be very interesting who Ducati will
pick to be a teammate. Melandri is not a huge hit with Italian fans, I hear.
Rossi and Ducati would be a match made in heaven, of course, and I would not
be surprised if Rossi is ready for a change, especially with the Yamaha I4
seemingly being unable to keep up with others.

Mobilari put together a Dago buyout no long ago and the Texans left for
greener pastures...

Hayden at Ducati, thanks but NO thanks
Happy with the guys at hand, if anything Loris can head on down to
Ducati team 2, and Hopper can come aboard, least he has a go and
races, Hayden is a clown and complete out of his depth.
Is Lorenzo in the picture somewhere?
