So did Jack Burnicle get fired?

At Donington we had this joke. We switch from the studio to the grid
just as they're setting off on the warm up. Burnicle says "They're
taking a long time bringing us in. I bet Carter's still talking out of
his arse. ... Are we live?". Then the sound goes dead and Carter does
the commentary for the first lap before it switches to James Witham and
Jack.

Then last weekend we had Julian Ryder and Witham and Jack Burnicle was
doing the commentary for BSB on ITV.

It looks like a win for us as Jack is better than the tossers who used
to be on ITV and Ryder's better than Burnicle for WSB. In fact Ryder and
Witham make a good team almost like the legendary Ryder and Huewen duo.
It's allowed James to do more commentary and not just fills. The
question mark is who fills Ryder's shoes at Eurosport MotoGP because he
won't be able to do both, at least some weekends.

Excellent.

It was already planned for Julian Ryder to stand in for Valencia and I
think another couple of rounds, presumably because of the date
clashes.

Personally, I'd send Burnicle over to MotoGP to replace Toby
"Overexcited" Moody...

There is nobody that could replace Toby Moody, He has so much enthusiasm and
knowledge for only being in the 500/Moto GP game since '96. There is only
one other commentator that is equal and that is Fred Clarke. Leave Toby
alone he's easily the best.
