If you get chance, watch the WSB races from Assen today. Two cracking
races, from start to finish.

Oh aye.
That second race was a peach.

Great to see Corser mixing it with the young blood.
Camier reminds me of Rea last year. He's got the speed but it's all a
bit chaotic.
Roll on Monza. There's a lot of very fast bikes, very evenly matched.
Time to give the Ducatis a change in weight break?
Ducati Corse lose their way, BMW step it up. How much of that is
Tardozzi?

Yep, the BMW is looking properly competitive. At an early point in one
of the races there were two BMWs, two Aprilias and a Ducati in the top
six - the japanese bikes were eclipsed!
Also nice to see Toseland back up there. His performances this year
have showed how Spies flattered the Yamaha last year, tho.

I thought he rode like a teenager - impetuous overtakes, that often
caused him to run wide and immediately lose the place again. And then
a huge crash.

And I watched the Supersport race last night too. And it was bloody
good.
The 3 guys who head the championship and were fairly obviously faster
than the rest of the pack are Laverty, Lascorz and Sofuoglu. The
Hannspree rider was fastest all through practice, but his bike didn't
work well in the race. He's certainly not showing the dominance that
he had when he won the championship a couple of years ago.
As a long time Kawasaki fan, I generally cheer for Lascorz, but I fear
he can run the front pace, but not really challenge for the win
(although of course, he did win in Valencia). He does seem to be
growing in confidence at each race tho, so maybe the self-belief is
coming. Still, a first and 3 seconds can't really be argued with for
consistency.
And yet, my money would still go on Laverty. He seems to be a real
racer, and I think he'll get stronger and stronger as the season
progresses.
