Commentators take on it "a racing accident".
A small case of rose tinted glasses surely?

I watched it several times, and I can't for the life of me see how Rea
can be blamed for Haga's crash. In fact, I'm not even convinced they
touched.

I watched it a couple of times and I am pretty convinced they touched.
Perhaps Haga's brake lever hit Rea's fairing.
I was surprised the he didn't get it back up and running, especially when
fighting for points...
I wonder what broke on the duc?

Haga ran wide, Rea ran up the inside and Haga attempted to cut back to
the piece of track now occupied by Rea.
It was all Haga's to lose really.

That kind of thing was going on all race long. If Haga had kept to a
slightly wider line and kept momentum, the incident wouldn't have
happened and he would have been on the inside of Rea on the next corner
and might have kept the place.
At the start of the year I said Haga would find a way to lose the
championship. It's a bit depressing to see it happen. Haga, Spies and
Yamaha all deserve to get a championship so on balance I suppose
Spies+Yamaha is a good thing. It's still going to suck if Haga is second
again, though.
