So no real SB class probably means no Japanese OEMs, althoufgh I
suppose Yamaha is still a possibility in ASB and maybe even DSB, but
even that would likely be through Graves, I'd think. I pretty much
thought it was over when I saw this one:
http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=33696
Since Ulrich was trying to stop the break, and since his website went
heavily negative on the factories in the last week, I assumed that had
reached impasse and since he was assumedly going the NASBike route he
had to damn the alternate series principals before that even happened.
Now an expected announcement that is more about Ulrich making his
choice than where Cardenas will be racing.
And then there's this one:
http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=33684
Obviously that meeting won't go that well, since Rog Ed has just
thrown the factories and at least some of the star riders out the
door. So unless he has some big promoter welfare plan to unveil, one
assumes his ultimate schedule for next year won't look anything like
this year - NASBike might look a lot like NASCAR circa 1960...
Now we wait to see if MIC has already revved up series development in
time for 2009, or if I have to spend a year satisfied by watching
MotoGP and WSB on the tube. And finally, this on our boy:
"Edmondson is now embarking on a cross country motorcycle trip with
one of his sons. They’ll ride a pair of Harley-Davidsons, a Road Glide
and a Street Glide, arriving at next weekend’s Grand-Am race at
Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California in time for a Friday meeting
with the AMA road race promoters."
Hopefully he'll meet up with a semi in a rather unpleasant manner
along the way - keep a good thought...

That you would wish someone harm and call it a "good thought" speaks
volumes of your mental health.
A new low indeed and you want folks to take you seriously?
Yeah, like that's gonna' happen...

You can stop right there and learn to get some perspective. You really think
that
your entertainment in any way compares to a war in which thousands die?

That's fine but wishing it on someone is a little bit different, or is that
concept a little too hard to comprehend? Anyway, if you want to wish it it on
him you
really ought to consider keeping it to yourself, ace.

Try to make the correct comparison, Howard. The comparison is between
what I said and people in this country who support and vote for
politicians who support the killing of thousands of people, including
fellow Americans, over oil or a Presidential family grudge or blind
"patriotism" or whatever the f*ck they think makes that war right. Now
which is the worse sin?

As I said, I only threw that one down there as a tasty little morsel for
Tom to lick up. And I should apologize in general for laying that bait,
I suppose. But I have to say my first thought when I saw Tom's
predictable response was, "And how long will it be before that
self-righteous bicyclist Kvetch shows up with his bile to back him up?"
I guess I should apologize for that thought as well...
That's not to absolutely claim that the thought of Rog Ed as a grease
spot somewhere out on I-80 didn't bring just a bit of a smile to my
face... ;)
Oh, maybe I should apologize for that one, too?

Nice try at dodging what you said. As usual. You're trying now to say that
the war
is a terrible thing (which it is) and that absolves you for thinking twisted
thoughts
about someone you think has possibly messed up you entertainment.

Goddamn, you're an asshole. By the way, dipshit, I'll fire this out one more
time.
You think that you're being clever by trying to mock my name, at least get one
that
is appropriate. "Kvetch" is defined as "to complain habitually." Now who does
that
sound like, MarkyMark?
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/kvetch
Furthermore, if you "threw that one down there as a tasty little morsel" then
I
guess that makes you what we call a "troll." So I suggest that you never ever
make
comments about Ozcar or anyone else being one. Oh, and you think *I* have bile?
Holy
shit, you're so out to lunch it isn't funny. You obviously don't see your own
posts
as a lot of others seem to.

Get a shrink. Soon. I'm betting it'll all go back to all the times you got
"picked
on" in school.
