Just finished watching the Xtreme and SStock races. What the Hell?
In SStock they ran into lapped traffic 3.5 laps into the race! At
that rate they could lapped some of those guys FOUR times.
Something's wrong there.
Sorry to see Jake lose the race because of the red flag. Good to see
Josh win though. With the coming changes in AMA racing this isn't the
time to have an off year.
Spies did a good job considering. But Matt looked completely wiped
after race two. Now that I've seen all the weekend's races I can
check the web for more info on what was going on with his health.

Who said heat races were a thing of the past?

Go fast. Take chances.

Yea, this is interesting.
So, let's see.
4 Heat races, 3 Qualifiers and 1 last chance. I assume that it's simply a
lottery as to who gets in which initial heat? Then how do they grid the
final race? Are the 4 winners of each heat put on the first row, or by best
lap time, or what?
I assume if you crash out of the qualifier or otherwise DNF, you can get a
run on the last chance?
Any mention on how/if this format affects points? Do they get a point for
winning a heat race or something?
Do you think that Speed will broadcast the Also Ran race to determine "21st
place"?
Yup, should be an interesting weekend.
Now if they'd only make them push start the bikes...

I assume it would be on total time.

Prolly so, it just depends on how hard the crash is!

Doubtful, but that might be a great idea.

It will be different seeing someone other than you know who going for a
win...

I was thinkin' that too...
However it works out I'm just happy to see the joint repaved and hope we
never see those damn concrete patches again...
