Which US road course (on which motorcycles race on a regular basis) is the
most famous/best known? I say "Road American" my son says "Laguna Seca."

Daytona, hands down. Not necessarily for positive reasons though.

Daytona, known as much for biker party as racing.....
I went there in '74, and it was already a celebration and party,
along with the real start of the RR season.

I agree, Daytona. However the AMA has seriously f 'd things up with their
new classifications for the races there. And the posers with their
"butt-jewelry" bikes have made a once famous racing event into a orgy of
excess.
Others on the list (although not necessarily used currently) might include
Road America, Watkins Glen, Laconia, Laguna, Road Atlanta and .......??
