Pardon me, I've not been taking intense interest in the MotoGP
series this year, but I was under the impression that Nicky was riding a
different bike this year to the other Honda riders, and that it was a
prototype for next year's 800. Did I get that wrong? Because Tobe and
Jules were wittering on today that Gazza scored the first MotoGP points
for an 800-class bike, with the Ilmor.

It's a 990, but is said to be a test mule for 800 tech...

Ah, thanks. I knew it was different but couldn't recall the exact
details.
