I dunno for sure, but I'm thinkin' this might not bode too well for the
Nickster's tenure at Repsol, then again, some say he's overstayed what
little welcome he had some time ago..
ÒI had to do a bit of pushing to get the motor; some guys in Honda were
keen on it and some not agreeing, there were two divisions.
The Puig division and the what? The "un" Puig one?
ÒI got pretty frustrated and hot-headed at one point, especially when
we still had some problems at the test, but we laughed about it later.Ó
Laughed? Really? Well, maybe after they said he could use it, but I
sorta' doubt Nicky would've laughed too much if they had said no..
The only way I see him staying at Repsol and very possibly even in MGP,
is if something "not so good" should happen to Dani, otherwise, what?
Melandri's got another year at Corse and I doubt Colin's going
anywhere, that is, unless he's shown the door, so what else is there?
Troy's ride in WSB? Oh wait, how 'bout a DSB ride for Roberts? (jus
kiddin', but remember, we live in interesting times;-)
Oh, BTW it's from Speed @;

All these contracts have peformance clauses in. Melandri is out - I'd
put money on it
>and I doubt Colin's going anywhere
Well, the AMA/DSB have shut down his pension plan :-)
>Troy's ride in WSB?
That wouldn't be the worse thing.

Don't forget about West; he could easily be gone, and Hopper and Nicky on
the same team would be great for MotoGP exposure in America.

Two yanks at the back? I'm a big Kawasaki fan, but they've not made
the step forward that I hoped they would this season.

I agree with your assesment.
I would like to see them as teammates tho.
