Dunno but it sure was good to see somebody but Spies beating
the anti-christ again.

Yes he is.  Off to MotoGP to see how good he really is I hope.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 3-4 guys on some sort of WSB if Daytona
Minibikes really happens.  Might just see a few walk away too.
Tommy H and Miguel are looking mighty long in the tooth just now, for
instance.  Of course, Edmondson might really come up with money and
that'd convince some guys to stay and ride minibikes.

Heh, yeah it's been a while, huh?

Is he? I hope if it does work out he'll be somewhere he actually has a
chance, and at this point I'm unsure that's gonna be with 'Zuki. Of
course, if they do leave AMA it ought to free up some development
money, so..

Could be a couple I guess, maybe Zemke, Hayes, or DeSalvo but I don't
think too many, at least not with the $'s DMG seems to be throwing
around..
Miguel might be just what they're looking for, Tommy H. too for that
matter, but who really knows?

Btw, you heard anything about merging CDNSuperbike and AMA in the near
future, like maybe in '10?

You all healed up and ready to rock?

If there aren't a whole lot of Nips watching Spies intently at Laguna
and Indy, I'll eat my MX boots.  Hell, I'll be watching intently when
I can get close enough at Indy.

Yeabut. Gotta do some figuring there - "is this bike that is gonna
be penalized if it's too good, good enough to win a few races and
keep my salary about where it is now?"  Too many unknowns
today to say what's what for any of the riders.  Thus the nervous
ones (name one that isn't) have some incentive to be looking at
other options.

Not me, probably Mark N.  He's usually spot on.

Yea - "AMA Pro is outa here, wanna talk about the new mag?"  Actually,
the new mag is sorta cool, if you're into that stuff.  They may be
following
the HOG business model, probably a good idea.

Mostly.  Finger doesn't really work but I'm riding, ran the local MX
on modern stuff on Memorial Day with no ill effects besides feeling
really slow.  Backyard flat track is open  Griffin and I have
been riding 2-3 days a week   Ya'll are invited,  Father's
Day 13:00 track open for practice, 14:00 timed qualifying, 15:00
races - Pro for top 10 qualifiers, Amateur for the rest of the adults.
Kids big wheel and small wheel classes. Grills fire up at 16:45.
Scotty says he got a container of bottle rockets so we'll probably
suit up in our leathers and full faces for a bottle rocket war.

Everybody acts like his going to MGP is a done deal and I'm not so sure
it is. The talk about him being a one man team went away pretty quick,
so I don't know that he's a got a lock on any ride, at least not yet,
though you can bet your ass if he does decent at Indy and 'guna
somebody will offer something, I just hope for his sake it's something
worth his time and talent..

Oh, I'm sure people are looking around, but where? There *MAY* be *A*
ride in WSB and Spies *MAY* get a MGP look, but other than those what
is there? Canadian SB? Nope, ran by Rog too. BSB? Yeah, like they'd
have open arms for a Yank. Retirement? maybe, but is known for not
paying too well. Then there's DSB. Trust me, anybody who can get a ride
will be there. 1st of all, the money's too good to pass up. Secondly
and even more importantly, it's the only game around..

Heh, yeah it's surprising he hasn't been around to tell us what to
think, though I'd almost bet he'll get around to it sooner, or later..

I haven't seen one yet, but maybe they should try to sign up some of
those Hog Dudes and Dudettes..

Sounds awesome and thank you for the invite, but Father's Day is the
time of year when I try to extract a little payback from my 2 and not
knowing how many more I may have left I don't wanna pass on any of 'um,
if you get my drift..

Btw, helmets are cool for bottle rocket and Roman Candle fights, but
wearing leathers is for pussy's!

 T3 proclaims:

Yeabut we're pussys.  We went away from the shorts and T-shirts mode
the year Martini caught a rocket square in the chest while wearing
a Hawaiian shirt that was apparently made of flash paper.  It was
incredible, completely burnt from where the rocket hit to the lapels
in 1-2 seconds.

Explanations varied at the emergency room - whatya tell a 32 year
old ER doc chick with nice hooters - "I'm stupid, please fix me?  And
these guys here - my friends - would like you to lean over a little
farther
in that hangy doc shirt."
