Well all I can think about at the moment is a ride from London to
Catalunya and back, leaving in 10 days time. Which includes a day
messing around on old British Bikes just north of Marseilles. I plan to
have fun! I'll have an Asus eeePC with me so I might even manage the odd
post.

Great! I hope you have a blast and do manage to post. A riding buddy
of mine just got one of those last week specificaaly for taking with
him on road trips and posting while on the road.

Thanks, Will. I try to stay as far away from politics (national,
regional, in the workplace, and at the racetrack) as possible. I
find life is more fun that way!

I'm guessing you don't follow MotoGP at all then...

Depends on what you mean by following it. Do I watch it on Speed TV?
Yes. Did I ride all the way from the east coast to California to
watch Nicky Hayden win the USGP at Laguna Seca in 2006, then ride back
via a different route? Yes, and I had a BLAST. Do I know most of
the riders' names? Yes. Could I tell you which riders ride for which
factory, and which tires they use? The former, some. The latter, not
at all. Do I know that they switched from 990cc bikes to 800cc bikes
last year? Yes. Could I tell you all the rules of the series?
Nope. Do I know anything at all about the politics of MotoGP? Nope,
and I don't want to know.
I do know this: I enjoy watching MotoGP, AMA Superbike, and World
Superbike on SpeedTV, I enjoy racing in MotoST, and I enjoy watching
CCS and WERA racing at Summit Point, and AMA Superbike racing at VIR,
and I can't wait for the Road America round of Moto-ST to be racing on
the AMA weekend, and because I've never ridden the Road America track
before. Also, I intend to have fun!
