Yes, Rossi is the best roadracer ever.  But he's showing some weakness by
resisting Yamaha's free choice of his teammate (Stoner, in this case).  That
Schumaker-like posture reflects badly on anybody who could be considered the
best ever.  The best ever takes on all comers.  That being said, there's
more pressure being on top than challenging and Rossi has been up there a
while.  Youth will prevail.

Maybe he wants Edwards for co-developing the bike.

I don't know exactly what Rossi said, and don't know his reason for doing
so. The only thing I can't imagine is that he says that for the fear that
his teammate might do better than him. I think the guy has proven time after
time that he takes any challenge that comes his way.
It could be bad chemestry. The guys are living and working quite close even
with the other teams and if the chemestry doesn't wotk between them it would
be a bad choice for Yamaha, Stoner and Rossi.

My money's on it being solely a Burgess matter.

Rossi's worried by a potential Aussie chemistry that may ultimately be
to his detriment.

Any pointers to this "fact"?
