OK, sorry to be bringing up the whole Rossi aero package shit again,
but does it look like he has a new front fairing on the Yamaha since
the summer break? just watching the highlight clips of BRNO on
motogp.com it looks to be wider and a little different shape. I
definitely think that BRNO is a track where the aero package could
play a big part. If I'm not just imagining things, Rossi's front
fairing seemed to resemble the Duc fairing a bit. (more coverage, more
protection)

Thoughts???

   It is new:

"We had some new things to try out today, including a new fairing which is an
evolution of the one that I used in Mugello."

Yesterday it was only on one bike. How many of the new fairing did they
bring? The shape reminds me of the Ducati 916 and 999 race fairings. Not
a double bubble but quite a high wrap round screen. And with the area
above the hands filled in compared with the old Yamaha fairing. The big
question is why did it take them so long?

Allegedly, somebody got a peak into the back of a Yamaha transporter and
saw 16 engines in there. I guess they've got a lot of testing to do on
Monday. Including a new pneumatic valve engine?

I wonder if they did anything that'll help with the cooling when they're
around
other bikes. Rossi's commented that when he's following another bike, the temp
goes
up and it starts to lose power (right when he needs it most, of course).
