Geez Jorge... WTF? *First* turn, and pretty much taking out Hayden to
boot in a display of a racing brainfart?? In your career defining
moment??
We knew Stone would be very strong. And Rossi. But Lorenzo's way of
throwing at way had to be unexpected.
The season now seems pretty much over. It depended on Lorenzo's
ability to stay cool and race smart, capabilities which he doesn't
bring to the table. Am I harsh? Probably. But in a defining moment he
made a total ass of himself, and for some reason I feel it may be one
of those career defining mistakes, it is not easy to recover from the
ridicule he will be rightfully facing (it has already started in the
Spanish media)...

Unforced error in the first corner = epic fail.
Even if Lorenzo wins in Sepang and Rossi has a DNF, Rossi will be 13
points ahead going into Valencia. I can't imagine Rossi just folding the
way he did a few years ago and 8th or 9th or whatever it is shouldn't be
too hard with the current grid.

Indeed.
As I ventured a few weeks ago "Lorenzo has a venerable tradition of
riding too hot after starting to again believe he can not do wrong..."
- as soon as he starts looking good be believes his own legend and
tosses it. This was a classic showing. Rossi has tactical, mental and
strategic advantage working for him. Lorenzo has started the process
of implosion under pressure.
