Sounds like they still don't really know what's wrong with him.

Kallio to take his place. Good. So how well do you think he'll do? And
will the factory bike be any different from the Pramac bike?
Fabrizio to take Kallio's place. At Brno. So who's he going to take out?
And I guess that means that they don't expect him to win the WSB
championship. I'm not sure there's date conflicts but you would think it
would confuse him. And there's always the possibility of getting it all
horribly wrong. The trouble is there's precious few world class riders
available as free agents or currently riding Ducatis. With Indianapolis
being one of the 3 races, how about giving Larry Pegram a ride?

I don't think the factory bike will be that different. I think the
significant factor for Kallio will be having the factory race crew
around him, who *really* understand that bike. If Kallio goes better
than Hayden, then it will give a clue as to why only Stoner can go
fast on it. If he doesn't, it's more evidence to Stoner + GP9 being
some sort of weird, can't-be-replicated combination.

Unkind :-)

I agree with that.

Sure. I was surprised at the names, but then thought - who else they
gonna call.

I suppose they could have done a F1 Schumacher style deal, and brought
back Bayliss. Although I see Schumacher has now pulled out due to his
bike crash injuries.

$10 says that Bayliss had a message on his answering machine yesterday
that his wife quietly deleted... ;)
