Reading "The World Center of Racing" in Daytona press releases always
makes me want to spew coffee.
But what would you really nominate for "The World Center of Racing"?
Suzuka? Mugello? Valencia?
This year. Not some arbitrary time in the past. So I think we can count
out places like Monza or IoM.

Imola?
It's hosted bike and car Grand Prix, SBK, the Imola 200, etc.
The circuit is whithin walking distance of the centre of town.
It's just down the road from Ducati, Ferrari, etc.
The locals have a real passion for motorsport, rather than seeing it
as an irritant.
It's a great circuit, with elevation changes, characterul pit
buildings, etc.

Isle of Man

Oh, ok then :-)
If we're talking about motorcycle racing, it'd have to be somewhere
that still has some history, and where both GPs and Superbikes go. So
my vote goes got Assen.

Yeah, when are we ever going to learn that "World" actually means
"European"?

Churchill Downs. Badminton?
Kidding.
Suzuka doesn't have MotoGP anymore. Lots of the teams
(F1, Rally, etc) are in the UK, are we talking a track or
the nexus of the motor racing world?
Go fast. Take chances.
Mike S.
Imola?
