Well, it's hard not to recall what Chris said back in '05 when he was
looking for a GP ride, once you're in the door it seems it's for good.
And now we see people lining up to sign Elias after his latest contract
time burst of speed, his first since his career-saving ride at Estoril
two years ago...
It would be ironic and fitting if Spies beats both of Suzuki's favorite
sons at Indy next weekend, having had the inside track on the best,
most-accomplished young rider outside of MotoGP in the last few years
and instead decided to again go with the oldest rider in the series and
a guy who apparently can only deliver on a track covered with water or
including a "cavatappi"...
