quick gear shift mechanism

 Hello -

I have read the code of FIM. The quick gear shifter is stated in the
document and is allowed. My question is
what does the quick gear shift mechanism look like?
I have seen a little black cylinder on the DUCATI gear shift shaft,
there are two selection square on the barrel, one is "road" another one
is "race"; is it a kind of quick gear shift mechanism?
How does the mechanism work?
If have any web site have some article is related to racing compnent
introduction?
Where can I find the code to motoGP? I can't find this kind of document
on offical motoGP web site.
