I took my stock 02 FLHR solo seat in to http://www.alligatorbob.com/ and he
removed the stock cover reshaped the seat foam (lowred the seat hight 3/4in)
put in a gel pad and put the stock cover back on what a differance all for
$100 took 2 days but this shop is local for me

Sounds like you're a little bit sour on ustang but .......I don't think
there is a more comfortable seat than a Mustang Touring Saddle for softails.
I put one on my FLSTFI a few years ago and it's just light years ahead of
anything else I've tried in terms of quality and comfort. It looks sharp too
with the conchos and tassels. These ain't cheap but you get what you pay for
!
I could ride on a bad seat 25 years ago but 200 miles on a stock seat is too
much to contemplate.
