Hi there;
Just started reading the group.
Don't know that this will be worth a thing, but I mainly ride a 2000 Legend.
Bought it new in '02.
Now have a bit over 37,000 miles(not kilometers) on it. I live in the hill
country of southeast Tennessee.
Live on a mountain, matter of fact. Ride up and down almost daily. Still
have the factory pads on it.
Think someone must have really abused the brakes on your bikes.

Thanks for the reply to my thread - I suspect the person who owned the
bike before me rode the brake - actually could see how someone with
little/no experience riding could do that, escpecially on the forward
pegs.
Just bought new pads, looks like I may need a new rotor as well. The
dealer sent me aftermarket sintered pads.
Nice bike you have there. I just googled it as there are none here
where I live (St. john's Newfoundland) Looks like there MAY be a
dealer here in the next year.
Agains thanks for the response!
