Try loosening the fuel cap either when this happens or before a test ride
and see if the problem clears up - fuel cap or vent not venting. There is
some history of this happening on some Hinckley models. Good job on fixing
the obvious corrosion at the coil connections - That makes perfect sense as
a time+heating = increasing resistance failure.
