Hi Triupmh People,
I've got a Legend that's had the engine modified into Daytona
Super-3 spec.
Goes very nicely indeed!
However, I feel I could use some proper flat-slider type Daytona Super-3
carbs to assist in getting more power out of the engine.
Does anyone know where I can find a set?
Also, the front brake is pretty mediocre on the Legend.
Does anyone know where I can get a higher-powered caliper from, that will
(hopefully) bolt straight on to the existing mounting brackets..?
Any suggestions are gratefully received.
Thank you.
Regards,
Dave G.

get a newstand copy of walneck's classic cycle trader
magazine. tons of dealers, new and used.
did you try i steel brake line? try that first, it's good
even if you change caliper later. also, a larger capacity
master cylinder can often beef up a brake.
but saving the first for last, is the brake in good
condition? if it sin't a brand new bike, check the fluid and
mechanics. if the fluid looks like coffee, flush and renew.
hth.
