I've a 2003 model Sprint ST, and I'm planning a few long trips in the near
future (with pillion).

Does anyone have experience with the "flip up screen" and the "dual gel
seat"?

Comments good and bad appreciated.

Scott.

No experiences, but my 02 ST has the stock seat. Wifey likes it. Also have
the Zero Gravity double bubble short screen, no probs. I have the OEM trunk,
with back pad, so that helps. Hope this helps.

Hmmm, this wifey copes with it at the moment, but not enthusiastically, but
since we are planning about 2000 km at christmas, I'd better make sure she
is comfy. I think I'll try the seat.

Me too really - thus the screen. The stock one is OK shoulders down. Top
of shoulders and helmet cop it all. Hopefully the flip up solves that.

I'll report back to the group after christmas.

The backrest for the wife is something I still need to sort - currently just
got a Ventura rack and bag but not keen on spending $2K on the hard luggage
options.

Scott.

Look at Givi. When I bought my bike, it had the full 3-pc factory luggage
set. It's not bad, but Givi is MUCH better. Never had it leak, but the OEM
stuff leaks, evan after hitting it with some silicone sealant. I've done
some 4 and 5 hundred mile days, no problems. The wife hasn't put on much
mileage on this bike yet. Sunday should test that.
