I've got a 2001 RS. I get 50mpg around town, and anywhere from 56-70mpg
onthe highway (depending on if I'm behaving speed-wise or not.) She's
tuned a little lean for the altitude here (5200'.)

I assume you are talking US mpg. Mine gets between 40 and 50 mpg, depending
on how judiciously I use the right wrist and how long it taks to run through
a tank. Usually I see about 43-44 in normal riding. Surprisingly it is not
much different from my 82 BMW R65, although the Triumph needs mid-grade (89
pump label octane)
Once I got 50 mpg, but that was on a leisurely day long trip that used fuel
up to the reserve - went 265 miles. Frequently see 46G.
BTW, my low fuel warning comes on when I am down 4.5 US gallons, leaving
about 2 gallons in the tank, supposedly.

98 BRG Sprint Exec (only year there was)
