is the worst experience I have had.
Tried twice to sell my fathers 98 T'Bird and really got nowhere.
I ran 2 auctions and only after the auctions ended did I get questions like,
1. I really want to buy that bike and can come today with cash.........
2. Can I make you an offer............
3. Will you be relisting it..........
It ran for 17 days in total had 3000+ viewings and no-one came to actually
view the bike. Had 8 bellow reserve bids. Would you buy a bike without
seeing it first.
One guy said I'll come today with cash and buy sight unseen.............yes
right, he'll arrive, pick some holes in it somewhere even though its OK and
haggle the price down. And most probably a dealer.
I think I'll try Autotrader..............anyone had success in this 1/4.

You want too much for what people will pay on ebay. It's that simple.
There is all kinds of psycology going on with ebay, but the one that
prevails is if your starting bid is high it won't sell PERIOD.
Ebay selling is for non emotionally attached business minded people. If
you're attached to the item and I can sense this, i will attempt to play
on that to my advantage every time.

ebay is a hole for bottom feeding asswipes who want to get somthing for next
to nothing. the new ceo has turned it to shit for sellers. any buyer can fuck
you over and you have zero recourse.
if you want to sell a bike, put an ad in the print version of walneck's
classic cycle trader. that's where real people buy bikes. and it doesn't have
to be old.
