My 2004 Blaster just siezed up. Assuming that it's just the piston that
siezed up, I need to know if there is a way of checking the oil injector
pump to see if that is what caused the the problem. I would hate to rebuild
the engine and then have it sieze up again, wasting a lot of money.

Thanks, Preston

You could mix up some premix, and disconnect the oil lines to the carb,
and run it on the premix while testing the pump for output. On my rz350
its actuated via a cable, and you can pull the cable to get the pump at
full throttle when its idling. Then all you need is specs on what the pump
output should be. It is alot of fiddling. You could also just run it on
premix. PLug up the oil lines on the carbs, remove the pump and get a
blocking plate.
