did you see the thread about the other xs? get a hard copy of walneck's
classic cycle trader and pick your vendor.
i suspect ignitions and keys from other yar/model xs machines will fit.
especially if it is a three position.

I am in the same boat but for a 78 XS750. For now I have unplugged the
ignition cylinder and jumped the plug with a hidden switch. It woks fine for
now. I have seen them on ebay etc at a failty good price.
