Afternmarket/NOS Parts for XJ650

 

Hi all,

I am looking for an Australian supplier of parts for my '82 XJ560LJ. I am
after things like tapered bearings for the steering head, replacement hand
grips, foot peg rubbers etc. All of the places I have found so far are
o'seas.

Where abouts in Auz?
Bearings from CBC bearings (these guys have stores all over the place),
grips and footpeg rubbers either MCA or MAW in Sydney.
Even though I hate them, BikeBiz at Parramatta have access to all things
Yamaha (just speak to a staff member that has been there a while).

Thanks Craig,

I thought about contacting some local bearing dealers before but I read
somewhere that the tapered bearings where specifically made for Yamaha. The
next chance I get I will contact the companies you listed and see if they
can help me out.

Thanks for the info. I'm on the XJ Mailing list (as are you I believe) and
have communicated with Dave before on a number of other issues. I'll contact
him OL and see if he's know anywhere.
