i've owned several. that's why my comments. the 72 and very different 75's
both had a hinge in the frame, riding wise, so i know what you mean.
there are better ways to fix that then a longer arm.
if i didn't suggest finding the xs650 groups in yahoo and google, try it for
the best advice about your bike.
there is a thumper group that covers all my singles and they often help.
