I have a 1981 Yamaha 850 Special and have a crack on the right side in
the middle of the muffler. I'm looking to sell the bike But I'd like to
replace that Cracked Muffler first. ( i just gotta new ROADLINER 1900)
Anybody have any used Yamaha Exhaust for an 850 Special????

Where ya at? What's the milage? How much you want for the bike?
I have an '80 850 in storage. It's got a set of used pipes on it. (first set
rusted out) It's getting too banged up to put any more money into. And I'm
looking for a replacement bike. Rebuilt the engine at 180,000 and rode it
until the carbs started giving me problems. And of course it hasn't tracked
well since my step-fathers nephew "borrowed" it one day while I was at work
and drove it into a curb.
I'm just north of Wichita, KS.

it's got 36,000 Miles on it and it's road ready(except fot the Hairline
crack in the mufffler that I put PC7 weld epoxy on) Front Tire went on
Last season, Rear went on 12,000 Miles ago. It's in the paper for $1650
or best offer..that's $1500 so far.
