Hi there,
I'm looking for an electronic schema of the electronic ignition unit of my
1983 Yamaha XS650 Special Heritage. It's a Hitachi Type TID12-03. I've
already searched the internet extensively but there is nothing to find. I
also contacted Hitachi but they do not support end users. Is there anyone
who has a schema of this ignition unit or does anyone know where I could
possibly get it?

basically a japanese version of a bonnevill with electric
start and a hinge in the frame.

Guess what? I've got a spare Hitachi unit for one of these, only it's a
TID12-01. Can't see that it'd be much different, though: maybe just a
slightly different ignition curve or summat.
If you're looking for a working iggie unit, yes, this one does.
