Does anybody know how I can obtain the invoice price of the 2005 V Star 1100
Custom? I tried the NadaGuides and Kelly Blue Book websites, but none will
give out the invoice price.

If you find out what the invoice price is please post it as I own one
and would like to know how much the dealer paid for to compared to how
much I paid.

I went to the Yamaha dealer yesterday and asked if I can buy the 1100 custom
at invoice price and he replied by saying that unlike the car industry,
motorcycle shops do not sell at invoice price.
I also tried finding the invoice price at the bike magazines at the
bookstore and none will provide the invoice just msrp.
Apperantly it is a tightly controlled market.

You can buy a Vstar 1100 Custom in black for $8k and two-tone for
$8100 out-the-door from LA Yamaha.
That's as close to invoice as you're going to get anywhere.
