LA Yamaha would be $9300.
LA Yamaha's price is a true OTD, including the typical dealer
markups... freight and assembly, as well as California sales tax
(8.25% for LA) and DMV fees.
I ended up getting my '05 WR250F from Bert's for $100 less than LA
Yamaha, OTD for $5700. Backing out taxes and DMV, it worked out to
about $5250 plus fees.
I have been told that Yamaha's "recommended" dealer markup (invoice vs
MSRP) is 18%, which would put invoice on the '05 WR250F at about
$4900. This would put the V-Star Silverado at about $8100, and the
Custom at about $7000.
