I use the reserve on my 1100 and have never had a problem getting to a
gas station.
Practice going to it while riding.
I usually only put in 3.5 gal's after switching to reserve - meaning
the reserve is a full gal.
@ ~ 45 MPG (1100) one would think that would be enough - unless
crossing desert or something.
your reserve could be much different though! check how much it takes
to fill vs its capacity after switching to it.
and ALWAYS REMEMBER TO SWITCH *OFF* RESERVE WHEN FILLING UP AFTER
USING THE RESERVE!!!
