It's the only thing I can figure on this old 83 400CC Seca I'm restoring.
I do the simple stuff these days and let the shop do the tough stuff.
Anyway, I've had this for a year. If you look in the sight glass (on
stand and all that stuff) you can't see a level and I'm not even sure I
can even see oil at all.
Every time I change the oil I let it drain and put on my glasses and
even use a flashlight. I'll be damned if I can tell if it's full or
empty and all the oil is drained out. I even resorted to measuring how
much drained out to make sure I wasn't losing it (In more ways than
one :-)

It makes me a little nervous depending on the oil light.
So, has anyone ever seen a sight glass get like this?
Is there anyway to change it short of pulling that cover?
I've never seen this happen before or heard anyone speak of it so it's a
new one on me.
