First, you may not have noticed but pictures aren't usually posted on this
group to save bandwidth.
Second, if you want calls to purchase your bike it would make sense to put
the area code in the phone number .
Third, by the path I would assume you are in Canada. You might want to make
sure that the price listed is identified as either US or Canadian money, or
list both since not everyone knows the current exchange rate.
Fourth, simply inserting an extra word in the email address will stop spam
and make it easier to communicate with you so you can sell it.
For instance,
Virago @ myplace. ca
would become
virago bogus @ myplace.ca (take out what is bogus)
Fifth and finally, don't you think that $6200 either US or CA is a little
rich, even for as fine looking as your bike is? Might I suggest you check
some local shops and even NADA online to get a true picture of the
commercial value?
Good luck on your sale!

How can you bother him when you don't even know what his area code is?

nobody else posts their area code in the hfx.forsale group, why do you think
he needs to? Wouldn't it be safe to assume that it's 902 unless otherwise
noted?

Maybe because the OP not only made the post to hfx.forsale, but also to
alt.motorcycles.yamaha - and someone who is only following *that* particular
newsgroup (and could be anywhere from Alaska to Australia) might not
necessarily know that "hfx" means Halifax, Nova Scotia. It's not a local
group like hfx.forsale is.
And, as Khutter pointed out, binaries don't belong in non-binary newsgroups.
