I am trying to find out if it is worth the money to buy a Corbin seat for my
2005 R1. Has anyone replaced their stock with one. If so, is the comfort
level worth the 3 bills.
Thanks

Are you looking for a harder seat than the stock one?
I bought a Corbin (with a Yamaha label on it) for my FJR, because at the
time it was the only choice with a passenger backrest, and I do a lot of
touring with my wife on back. But my butt likes the OEM seat on my R6 a lot
better.

I am looking for more comfort in riding. I ride from Jax to Orlando
frequently and my a** feels like it is about to fall off. My buddy has an
interceptor with a Corbin and he says the comfort is nice.

Wildman,
I am also interested in this. The seats are definitly built for
race only. I had a real sore ass just after a 160 mile ride. If you
find any other info on good replacement seats! Please let me know!
