Last fall I sold my Virago 535 which I had for 5 years--needed the
money.  Like a goofball, I let my motorcycle endorsement lapse, because
I thought my biking days were over.  All spring I've been lamenting my
loss.  Now I'm seriously thinking about getting a V-Star Classic 1100.

Not that it will stop me from getting it, but I'm wondering about the
relative ease of taking the skills test on the 1100.  Any thoughts or
experience out there?

Although there;s no doubt that the smaller the better for low speed
maneuvers (ie driving tests), the low center of gravity and seat height
of the V-Star makes makes it particularly easy to handle at an idle.
Having ridden before, just get a lot of practice to familiarize yourself
with the new bike.  You'll do just fine.

Ride safe.
