Tell me about the Virago 500

 

I just recently got an 83 Virago XV500K. It had sat a while, so I have a
friend who is a Motorcycle mechanic looking at it and he is rebuilding the
carbs, but other than that he said it is in good shape. Is this a good bike?
I used to have a 750 Virago, and I loved it. How dos this one compare except
for the size of the engine? Please let me know if this is a decent bike or
not

when it's running correct, you will form your own opinion.
i don't like v twins, so i wouldn't be a good opinion while
someone who only likes v twins might not either.
you're the best judge of what you like.
