My wife bought a 2005 V Star Silverado 650 and loves it. Her only
complaint is the single running/brake light. She would like to increase
the number of brake lights to make her easier to see when stopping.
We searched the web and found a Turn Signal Conversion Kit that makes
the rear turn signals into additional red running & brake lights, yet
flash in amber as turn signals. The kit claims to triple the size of
the rear running and brake lights without adding any additional housings.
Here's a link to the kit --
http://www.nopork.com/shop_product.asp?id=PN01315&bkmn=Yamaha+V%2DStar
Does anyone in this group have experience with this kit?
We also have never ordered anything from nopork.com. Does anyone have
any experience with them? They responded pretty quickly when E-mailed
but were unable to supply any technical answers (probably a sales type
person).
Help! And thanks.

best find out the manufacturer and check thier website.
starit from the horses...whatever.
in the old days. the bullet lights truckers use for running
lights looked good on dressers. red, amber. clear.
some people like the rapid flash brake lights...i don't.
i just increase the light size and add two wmaller lights on
either side that are ONLY brake lights. change the pattern
and the luminosity. make it easy on the cagers, force them
to see you.

You might want to try asking on the MSN yamaha star riders club... lots
of members.... have done lots of mods.... it doesn't cost anything to
join (just have to sign up)I'm sure some of them have experience with no
pork and I'm sure some of them have added lights on the back... ~D
