32 out today when I road in to work...
Hands were the only thing that was cold.
2 pair of gloves were just not enough on the freeway.
Anyone put on heated grips?  I was wondering if the output
of the alternator would be sufficient....
I usually ride with my bright light on - but wouldn't if I put
on the heated grips ... or could I??
Anyone have any experience doing this??
was it hard to do??

I had the dealer install heated grips when I bought my FJR 1300.  It was
the best investment I have ever made on a motorcycle.  I ride with my
brights on during the day and an electric vest during cold weather.  No
problem.

Ride safe.

simple matter of reading the stats. find the output of your
stator, the normal running load, with hi and low beams, then
get the rating of draw for the gloves you want.
then, as they say, do the math. it ain't rocket scienece and
you'll do it in 10 minutes.
