Hello,
I have virago 535 that hasn't much ridden since it was bought.
I struggled a lot with the carburation. But it begins to be better.
I rode 125 km and had no fuel more.
I went to a gas station and filled the fuel tank completely with only 9.8
liters.
I wonder if someone knows how to clean the reserve tank because I think the
problem is there now.
Thanks a lot

there should be a couple screws holding the fuel selector valve into the
bottom of the tank. Just pull that out and clean the screens that are
hooked to the valve.

there is no seperate tank for the reserve.
the reserve is a hole on the top of the petcock.
it bypasses the tube that sticks up 1-2 inches for the main
supply.
you may wat to flush the tank with clean gas and clean the
carbs. that should work.
always use stabuilizer if the bike sits more than 2 weeks.

stabilizer for just 2 weeks is a little extreme. I would say more like a
month.

depends on where you are. and winter gas has a lot of
alky-breaks down fast. 535 carbs are finicky, many people
replace them.
