Vstar 2003 Custom 1100 Gas Cap

 

Gas cap popped off and broke in a couple pieces after hitting a small
but deep chuck hole.

Can't find anything local and will need to order the part or pay
out the A$$ for an entire lock/ignition/gas cap set for $125.
I know I will miss a beautiful weekend but I'll be damned if
I will pay that.

Anyone out there have any other ideas other than waiting for
the part to come in?

you can use a plastic push on one as a temp stop gap only prob could be
pressure build up
