Thread from June 05...
Was this ever answered besides I shoulda, coulda or woulda?
Ok so I just got my V Star 650 and am playing catch up on the threads. Is
there any upgrade available to the gearing to either add a 6th gear or
lower
gear ratio to keep the RPM's at higher speeds down?
Also, my VStar has an annoying high-pitched whirring sound when cruising. I
think it may be the shaft drive causing the unwanted sounds that i hear
over
the exhaust.
Clues?
Thanks.
