Hello everybody
I am thinking about buying a very old Yamaha XS 1.1, and I was wondering
how much should I pay for it.
The bike doesn't work for sure, I plan to restore it in my free time, as a
hobby. The tires look fine, it's a bit rusty.
Thanks in advance

The value of a motorcycle is relative to its year, model and condition.
If the bike is not running its value is determined by its value as parts
and scrap metal, or to yourself as a hobby bike.
The only caution I would provide is to do a little research on parts
availability and cost, and value of a restored, similar, model. That
should give you and idea of a reasonable budget for this project.
Enjoy!

Thanks Serge. I believe it is from 1981, it looks like it has all its
original parts on it, although there are some rusty chrome indicators
and other chrome pieces (just rusty, no holes).Tires have a deep groove,
although they must be 2 or 3 years old.The seat is in good condition,
and it has one of its exhausts replaced by an aftermarket part. Oh, I
don-t like seeing that wonderful bike alone on the street, it`s been a
year and a half since I first saw it.
