The bike sat for many years, is up and running now. Still rough, but
coming along.
However- a loud chirp from one carb at idle and coast/overrun.
Sounds like the CV slide is jumping up and down, or the needle assembly
inside it is making noise?
I just went through the carbs again and cleaned them up. I don't see
any obvious differences between the two quiet ones and the one noisy
one.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

smoothed out a bit since I cleaned the carbs.
I have a spare set of carbs, I'll swap a diaphragm and slide in place
of the noisy one.
Minor adjustments, runs pretty good.
Still needs muffler, minor stuff.

attaboy, keep that fine vintage on the road. you inspired me
to pull out my 66 yr1 and make it run. it was tough, after
sitting for 4 years, i put gas in it and it started 4th
kick. gotta love them 2 strokes.
