Anyone have a reference for decoding the manufacturers portion of the
vin? I am in the market for a used bike and would like to be able to
tell exactly what the bike is. (Motivation is that I recently had a
guy tell me the bike he was selling was a Virago 750. It was a 250
but there really is no marking on the bike except for Yamaha Virago
and the VIN.
