Congratulations, Kitty!  Basic safety instruction is really essential for a
new rider, and too many skip it.  Encourage him (and you!) to look into the
Motorcycle Safety Foundation classes - the basic rider course, and later on,
the experienced rider course.  You should be able to find info online
easily, if you just search for the name.

he did his safety course for the basics over the weekend and thursday
and then in a few months after hes had alittle bit more time on the
bike he's going back and do the other one.  Safety is a big issue with
us.  I'm interested inlearning too but have tunnel vision so not sure
if I am going too be able too but who knows till they try.  I will be
taking the course too if I decide too move up on the seat :)
