how to set points on yamaha 1979 125dt

Can anyone help set the points on my bike. The guy that took it apart moved
and im not sure how to install the new set of points. I know what the gap is
but i dont know how to install them. Please Help.

Can't tell you exactly what to do (not owning that model!), but the general
idea is to turn it over until the cam lobe is at the peak, then you'll
loosen a screw, and carefully adjust the points until you've got the correct
gap.

A very gentle drag on the feeler gauge is what you're looking for.
Not sloppy, but not so tight that it's forcing the points open more.
Tighten the screw gently, then spin it over once and recheck the gap.
