I have a 76 yamaha 80...the coil is discontinued. Any ideas on what
other models/years will fit it?

any of equal electrical value and voltage.
jc whitney specials will work fine.

There were FOUR 80cc Yamahas made in 1976. Which one are you talking about?

The GT80 and the YZ80 used the same coil.
The LB80's used a different model # coil.
